1. UPSC Civil Service Entrance Exam (IAS) –
This is one of the toughest entrance exam. Aspirants are required to cover the large syllabus. Indian History, Indian Geography & Laws on Human Rights are considered to be important subjects. Around 8 to 10 lakh students appear for this examination every year.
The exam is conducted in three levels:
=>Level 1:- The Preliminary Exam.
=>Level 2:- The Main Exam.
=>Level 3:- Personality Test or Interview.

2. IIT JEE Entrance Exam –
It is the 2nd toughest examination in India. IIT-JEE is an engineering entrance exam that allows candidates to gain admission into top engineering institutes in India like IIT, NIT, IIIT, etc. There is two level entrance exam which an candidates has to clear :-
=>JEE Main
=>JEE Advanced
In order to appear for JEE advanced, candidates have to clear JEE Mains to get enrolled for JEE Advanced Examination.

3. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Entrance Examination –
The purpose of this examination is that a student should get admitted into Masters and Doctoral courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture & Science. This test is also accepted by many PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings). There is no age limit to apply GATE exam. To enroll for this exam candidates should meet with at least one common thing among them from the below criteria.
=>Secure at least a Bachelor’s degree in the related engineering or technology stream.
=>Secure at least a Master’s degree in any branch of mathematics, science, statistics, or computer applications.
=>Or in final year of either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.

4. CAT (Common Admission Test) –
To get admissions to best management & business schools in India, candidates have to appear for this CAT Exam (entry level exam). CAT exam scores are accepted by IIMs & other similar universities & institutes offering courses on MBA. Following are the criteria which an candidate should follow:
=>Secure at least a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for other categories) or above.
=>Or secure the degree from a university recognized either by the MHRD or by the UGC Act, 1956.
5. NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam –
This examination is held for the candidates who want to apply for the post of Army, Air Force & Navy. Aspirants who are selected are picked: based on written examination, psychological aptitude test, intelligence test, personality test & finally, an interview
